What are Fragrance Oils?
Fragrance oils mimic the aroma of natural plants and flowers. These aromatic oils are just some of the many tools used by hobbyists and craft-lovers who are looking to add a prominent fragrance to projects such as candle-making, soap-making, perfumery and toiletry making. Custom blended by our team of fragrance experts, PipingRock’s collection of fragrance oils are of the top-most quality to ensure your finished product emits a scent that is not only authentic, but also 100% satisfying every time! Some of the most popular fragrance oils are:
-
Lilac Mist - floral and jasmine-like, with hints of honey pollen
-
Musk - sweet and spicy, with hints of leather and wood
-
Honeysuckle- bright and floral, with sweet notes of rich honey
Directions for Use
Our fragrance oils are contained in glass amber bottles to protect the delicate oils from sunlight, encouraging longevity and a stable shelf-life. Note that each fragrance oil has a unique flash point, please keep into consideration while using for your various projects.
Fragrance oils can be used in your aromatherapy diffusers just like you would essential oils, and can also be used in most projects that could use an aromatic burst! Use these oils in your homemade candles, soaps, toiletries, lotions, perfumes and more. The following recommendations are approximate ratios of oil to base, which can be adjusted based on your personal preferences:
-
For candles, use 1.5 ounces of oil per 1 lb of wax
-
For soaps, use 1 ounce of oil per 1 lb of base
-
For lotions, use 1.5 ounces of oil per 1 gallon of base
